About
I am completing my Ph.D. in English at the CUNY Graduate Center. My research focuses on 19th-century American aesthetics and intersections across literature, visual arts, science, and technology. As I complete my dissertation, I have a fellowship in which I train faculty in writing across the curriculum (WAC), keeping one ear lent to issues related to the structures, rhetorics, and politics of writing programs. I am equally committed to pedagogy and research, and find the writing and thinking of the HASTAC community to one place where the two meld fluidly.
