Maria Dolores Orta Gonzalez holds a degree in English teaching and is presently working as a lecturer in the School of Languages, Universidad Nacional de Cordoba. She is the co-director of a research group focussed on individual and collaborative online academic writing, and the director of a University Outreach Project which aims at fostering creative writing and the design of digital artistic productions. Maria Dolores Orta Gonzalez is designing hypermedia materials as part of her dissertation for the MA in Technology-mediated Educational Processes, at Centro de Estudios Avanzados, UNC. She has completed several postgradute courses and seminars in Applied Linguistics and ICT, and her main areas of interest besides ICT are vocabulary learning strategies and pronunciation. She has written several papers on these issues and presented her findings extensively in local and international conferences. Memberships
