Daniel Laforest is an assistant professor of French at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Canada. His work focuses on the interrelations between realism, narrativity, urban spaces, and the new modes of digital mapping & storytelling. He is part of a research group called Edmonton Pipelines that develops projects based on those questions.
