The IG held its first official business meeting on January 5, 2021, which was held virtually because of the Covid-19 pandemic. The minutes were created by the inaugural chair, Deb Brown Stewart, and submitted for review to the membership by e-mail.

Document includes the Charge and Proposal that were submitted by the charter members in December 2019 to the AIA’s Research and Academic Affairs Committee. It was approved in January 2020, formally establishing the “Digital Archaeology Interest Group.” E-mail addresses for the charter members have been redacted.
