I am doctoral candidate in the History Department at Michigan State University where I research United States Food and Labor History, with a focus on gender and race. I am also pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Digital Humanities.
My dissertation research project, Serving it Up in the Capital City: Restaurants, Labor, and Restaurant Labor in Lansing, Michigan, 1963-2008, explores issues of race, class, and gender within the context of deindustrialization. Education
