This piece explores connections between science fiction and lyric poetry.

In “Generation Hwabyung Telepathy” and “A Resume of Traumas,” the Korean American lyric speaker struggles with the pain of generational trauma that she has inherited from her father and from the grandfather she has never met.

In this prose poem, the Korean American lyric speaker meets the ghosts of her ancestors, explores generational trauma, and lets her ancestors speak to and through her.
