Wife, mom, writer, teacher

Married for almost 22 years to my soul mate, I have three lovely children and one dog. My family and I live on a farm in rural Rowan County, NC, where we enjoy frequent visits from deer, wild turkeys, and even passing herons. To our chagrin, the farm also has feral cats and annoying geese year round.

I have an M.A. in English and teach first-year writing at UNC Charlotte.

My latest venture is sharing my short fiction by seeking publication.
