Manisha, I think that these are really interesting potential research questions. If we explored a topic related to incarcerated women, perhaps we could collaborate with students in a class at Penn called GSWS555: Women and Incarceration. I agree that we are falling prey to technological determinism, and I think that it is important to acknowledge this as we move into a new era of technology.
