About

I am junior physician and a PhD candidate in Medical History at the University Medical Center Utrecht (Netherlands). In my PhD project “Brain Battles: Locating the History of Neurosurgery”, I seek to facilitate crosstalk between the medical historiographic cultures of physicians and academic historians, using the history of neurosurgery as a case study. In addition, I am interested in incorporating art-based research approaches and insights from Art Science and Technology Studies in my research.
