I am a musicologist and classical guitarist, currently an Assistant Professor of Music History at the Glenn Korff School of Music, University of Nebraska – Lincoln. My research focuses on realism and verismo in the Spanish musical theater at the crossroads of the 19th and 20th centuries. Other interests include Italian verismo, 19th-century Italian art songs, and 20th-century guitar repertoire. Education
