About
I am an interdisciplinary disability studies scholar who believes in the didactic and creative capacity of online media and the publics such media simultaneous addresses and creates, particularly as it extends into projects of crip worldmaking. My areas of specialty include: disability studies— Particularly the intersection of critical media studies and disability studies— Critical Access studies, and critical sexuality studies. I am compelled by disability culture and creative production, networks of care, and feminist interventions into the discourse of desire, pleasure, and disability online, as well as the political and moral economies that underpin these concepts. I also have a creative practice that centers remix as a method to imagine crip futurity.
