      Dear MSA Forum members,

      The International Musicological Society is pleased to announce the inauguration of the IMS Study Group “Musical Diagrams”, chaired by Daniel Muzzulini (CH) and Susan F. Weiss (US). The study group has the following mission statement: “The aims of the study group are: to foster the exchange of music theoretical diagrams and ideas about diagrammatical reasoning; to explore music theoretical iconography in this interdisciplinary field; to bridge the gap between historical and systematic musicology; to contribute to new ways of teaching music theory.” To join this study group and also manage your other regional associations and study groups, please visit the following link (login required): musicology.org/manage-profile
