Looking back on my time as a HASTAC fellow (2018–20), I feel like I could have done more with the group. I did organize a workshop on my campus about DEI in digital humanities, and I gave an online lecture for HASTAC about the grad school application process, but beyond those things, I didn’t write much for the website, participate in a group book review, or engage with other fellows. Alas. There is only so much time in grad school to do non-grad school things. Maybe I would have been more active if I’d started HASTAC when COVID hit.
