      Does anyone discuss how student interests or concerns can wind up shaping curricula or even the direction of a scholarly discipline?
      I have combed the education literature and not seen a hint of anything that could give me a model or theoretical context for my claims about how classroom practice shaped scholarly discipline in Classics, specifically Latin Literature.
      Does anyone know any forums where I could post this question (google groups, email lists, or anything) ?
