Global Digital Humanities Symposium – Registration Open & Program Announced

      The Global Digital Humanities Symposium (msuglobaldh.org) Planning Committee is pleased to announce the program and to open free registration for the 9th annual Symposium, which will take place as a virtual event, March 15-18, 2024 and an in-person event at Michigan State University, March 22-23, 2024. The registration deadline is Monday, March 11.

      During the Virtual Symposium, we will support live interpretation of presentations from English into Spanish and from Spanish into English, as well as live captions for presentations in English.

      Day 1: Monday, March 183:00-7:00pm EDT / 8:00pm-12:00am Mar 18-19 Nigeria/Central European / 3:00-7:00am Mar 19 Beijing

      Day 2: Tuesday, March 1912:00-4:00pm EDT / 5:00-9:00pm Nigeria/Central European / 12:00-4:00am Mar 20 Beijing

      Day 3: Wednesday, March 20 9:00am-1:00pm EDT / 2:00-6:00pm Nigeria/Central European / 9:00pm-1:00am Mar 20-21 Beijing

      In-Person DaysFriday, March 229:00 am – 4:00 pm EDT (converted to other time zones)Saturday, March, 23 10:30am – 2:00pm EDTIn particular, we would like to point out virtual keynote presentations from Sara Morais dos Santos Bruss and Rachel Adams, with a response and discussion, led by Alex Gil. We are also looking forward to a keynote presentation from Bill Hart-Davidson on the in-person day on Friday.
