The avatar is the 12th-century “Iconographic Drawings of Five Myōō (明王部諸尊図像抄)” from the Metropolitan Museum of Art (The Harry G. C. Packard Collection of Asian Art, Gift of Harry G. C. Packard, and Purchase, Fletcher, Rogers, Harris Brisbane Dick, and Louis V. Bell Funds, Joseph Pulitzer Bequest, and The Annenberg Fund Inc. Gift, 1975).

The cover image is a 4th-5th century Monumental Head of Buddha from the Metropolitan Museum of Art (Anonymous Gift, 1985).

Both images are classified as Open Access for Scholarly Content (OASC).
