Steps:

1. Click on this link: https://globalmusicalmodernisms.hcommons-staging.org/
2. On the upper left, click on “New” and select “Post.”
3. Enter “Title” of your post
4. Enter “Text” of your post
5. Text should begin with “By [author’s name]”
6. Insert links to recordings, scores, or composers’s websites by clicking on the “link” button at the top of Text. This is the button that looks like a link in a metal chain.
7. Optional: Upload the score of the work under “Files” in the website: https://hcommons-staging.org/groups/global-musical-modernisms/ Include a Direct link to the score in your blog post. You can find the Direct link by clicking on the same link as before to reach the website main page, then click on the “Files” tab, and click on the file you just uploaded–cut and paste the link at the top of your website browser.
8. Optional. Upload a journal article by you or another scholar, related to the blog post, under “From CORE” in the website (same link as for step 7). Include a Direct link to the article in your blog post. You can find the Direct link by clicking on the same link as before to reach the website main page, then click on the “From CORE” tab, and click on the file you just uploaded–cut and paste the link at the top of your website browser.
9. Enter the link to your blog post in the Index. The link is found under the Title of your blog post and is called “Permalink.” The index is found under “Docs” in the website. Click here for the Index: https://hcommons-staging.org/docs/index-of-blog-posts-by-composers-name/
10. Click “Save Draft” in the menu at the top right corner.
11. Notify the editor by email. The editor will publish your post on your behalf.
