The text consists of two different parts – theoretical and practical one. Theoretical part implies
several problems regarding the application of Internet during the historical research: its significance and
its positive sides, various problems a historian encounters during the course of such applications, its
prospects in the future, etc. On the other hand, practical part of this text comprises the review of a number
of various Internet sites significant for medieval history as well as those important for the modern history.
