Productivity is identified by years and languages, the most productive countries, collaboration between countries and types of collaboration. It was identified that the scientific production of the community development scientific field in Latin America shows a growth until 2016, an aspect that may be determined by the decrease of left-wing governments in the region since 2015. The nations with the highest scientific production with more than 100 publications They were Mexico, Brazil, Colombia and Argentina. The Spanish and Portuguese languages were the most used. Intra-national collaboration was predominant followed by north-south. The nations that collaborate the most are Cuba-Ecuador, Brazil-Spain and Brazil-Portugal.
