This course is a theoretical and methodological introduction to modern cutting-edge methods in advanced data analysis with a primary focus on deep learning and artificial intelligence. We will consider both the practical aspects of building neural networks and other deep learning models and the social, cultural, ethical and philosophical issues related to their development and deployment.
