A report prepared by Humanities Clinic intern Fatima Albrehi for the Legal Advocacy for People with Cancer (LAPC) Clinic. At the beginning of the pandemic in 2020, few if any organizations knew how to transition to a mostly remote setting. This report advances through several important considerations in this transition. It starts with applicable executive orders, then discusses Legaler, the video conferencing software for legal operations. Then various methods of scanning documents, factors to consider for in-person meetings, and other video conferencing software alternatives.
