This report was written as part of an internship at the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).
The internship and report were completed in partial fulfilment of the requirements of a Master’s degree in
Public Health at the School of Public Health of the Université de Montréal (health promotion option). The
internship was completed in the Public Health Capacity and Knowledge Management Unit of the Quebec
Regional Office under the supervision of Nadia O’Brien, PhD, Research Analyst in Infectious Diseases.
The report was written for decision-makers and stakeholders within and outside of PHAC working on
issues related to COVID-19 and immunization.
