Johannes Waldschütz deposited Das Prämonstratenserstift Weißenau. Geschichte, Erinnerung und Förderer im Spiegel der Acta sancti Petri in Augia on Humanities Commons 3 years, 7 months ago
The article discusses the Acta sancti Petri in Augia, a 13th century cartulary consisting of four books collecting charters, traditiones, chronicles and administrative sources from the monastery of Weißenau near Ravensburg in southwestern Germany. Particular emphasis is placed on the way this source remembers and writes about the history of the monastery and its patrons, most prominently the Guelphs and the Hohenstaufen dinasty as their successors in southern Germany.
