English abstract: An evolutionist and cognitivist reflection on the role of imagination and self-representation in human identity, in the creation of truths, and in the management of crises—withing a human reality, an interactional and communicational reality, which has always been a largely virtual reality (avant la lettre and avant multimediated cyberspace).
