Technology journalists transitioned from fairly obscure figures to in demand
stars of the news and publishing world. This work retraces the origins and
ascension of this now dominant social group, producers of ruling discourses;
based on now largely forgotten publications of the 1980s as well as better known,
experimental magazine Mondo 2000. Up to St. Jude’s death.
