Astrinidis Centenary resources:

Nicolas Astrinidis (1921-2010) was a Romanian-born Greek pianist and composer with an adventurous early adulthood during and after WWII. Based in Paris for nearly two decades, he had an impressive international career, collaborating with the likes of Jacques Thibaud and Henryk Szeryng, until he settled in Thessaloniki, my native city, in 1965. There he composed some of the most impressive oratorios and symphonic works in the Greek symphonic repertoire.
