Dana Williams deposited Teaching Anarchism by Practicing Anarchy: Reflections on Facilitating the Student-Creation of a College Course on Humanities Commons 4 years, 2 months ago
What would happen if a college instructor asked students to design their own syllabus, figure out what they wanted to learn, and run a class on their own? In other words, how would a classroom work if established on anarchist principles? I conducted my own socio-pedagogical experiment within a class on the subject of anarchism to answer these very questions. I wanted to know if the daily practice of anarchy within a course could actually
help students to learn more about anarchism (and even become anarchist).
