CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT. I am teaming up with the Metal Classicist Dr. Jeremy Swist to organize an interdisciplinary online conference in February. We welcome scholars from across the disciplinary spectrum, as well as musicians, journalists, and fans of metal music. If you engage with or are interested in any aspect of metal’s intersection with the premodern history, myth, literature, or art of any culture, consider pitching us an abstract!
