@tuckermillion I’m not good enough at navigating Humanities Commons to figure out where to ask this, but is the early modern document exchange meant to be documents only, or should I also post about manuscripts I could share? I have full images of about half the Renaissance manuscripts of Lucretius, and would be happy to share them, but they’re a bit different from the document-focused stuff you’ve been gathering, so I wasn’t sure.
Hi, @adapalmer, this is a perfectly fine place for the question! It will certainly help clarify the process for others as we work things out. We would love it if you were to post about any manuscripts that you might be willing to share. The Renaissance manuscripts of Lucretius sound particularly useful, too.
My recommendation, for the ease of locating the documents by members, is to post by the cities in which these manuscripts might be found under normal circumstances. If you can, that is. If you have drawn from several locations then it might be easier to just create a new discussion post (done by clicking “Create New Topic” on the Discussion Tab). We are aiming for a large and comprehensive source-base and do not want to limit it to just archival documents.
