Substantial data produce by academia, industry and commerce creates problems for storage, processing and interpretation. The data in the same manner can be viewed from many different angles which can produce some incipient insights which might be overlooked by researcher or may not have been intended research objectives. Therefore, every organisation needs to have a strategy, tools & skills to manipulate data and make it available to others for reuse and reinterpretation, thereby creating more research connections and future research opportunities. The problem boils down to managing, Curating and sharing the data for its maximal use. This study was an endeavour to explore these issues and propose a service model.
