A review of the Alfred Flechtheim retrospective in Summer-Fall 2017 at the Georg Kolbe Museum in Berlin. Flechtheim was a key promoter of the works of the historical avant-garde and other modernist artists. His collection and galleries were seized by the Nazis in 1933. Flechtheim was forced to flee and died in London in 1937.
